Note:
The entry grading guidelines are not rigid; stronger Junior A/Masters players may wish to enter the Intermediate event while others in those grades may prefer to enter the Junior event. The organising committee has the final say on entries.
 
The innovative format is as follows:
All players must be in attendance for the draw at 9.30am. The top 16 are seeded by the tournament committee and, starting with the 16th seed, each seeded players draws their opponent out of the hat blindly.
Matches serve off at 10am sharp and run all day. Games are played on a 20-minute timed format; a coin is placed in the meter and when the lights go out, it’s game over!
The finalists will have to play five 20-minute matches.
First round losers enter the B grade so all players are guaranteed at least two games and the majority will get three or more.
All players will receive a free souvenir tournament jersey.
